Moscow's stadium "Luzhniki" today has a huge honor and responsibility to hold the opening ceremony. It will start at half past five on the evening of June 14 - exactly half an hour before the first match of the championship.

The upcoming show will consist of musical numbers kaleidoscope, in which will take part special guest, singer Robbie Williams. The performer admits that he is delighted with such a prospect.

"I am very glad that I'm going to Russia again. And to open here the World Cup before 80 thousand fans and millions of viewers at the screens - it's generally something akin to a dream from childhood!" - says the artist.

The company on stage will be a Russian opera singer. Vocalist Aida Garifullina is short-tempered, somewhat agitated and honestly admits that she could never even imagine what she will become a part of such a grandiose sports event of a global scale.

The ceremony will be attended by twice the world champion in football, Brazilian Ronaldo. During the entire preparatory process, the athlete was in the thick of events, and now he will visit all the cities of the World Cup 2018. "The first match is always very symbolic. What the whole football world has been waiting for four years has finally come. Nobody can foresee what will happen during this month, but everyone is sure - it will be unforgettable!" - shares with his emotions, the former Brazilian striker.

In total, more than 800 people will be involved in the ceremony, but performances of acrobats and other similar shows are not expected. At all is allocated not more than 20 minutes, and the main requirement for all participants - do not damage the lawn, which is waited with trepidation, when the sneakers step on it. Until July 15, the World Cup 2018 will be played in 11 cities of the country. Already on June 15, at 17:00 the second match will clash the Egyptian and Uruguayan teams at the "Yekaterinburg Arena", an hour later will be the confrontation between the football players of Morocco and Iran in the arena "St. Petersburg", and at 21:00 "Fisht" in Sochi will become a battlefield between the national teams of Portugal and Spain.
